The 2011 HR Department of the Year Awards dinner and presentation was held on November 17, 2011 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. Bill Henley, meteorologist and co-host on NBC10 was the master of ceremonies for the awards program, which was created to recognize outstanding human resources departments in the Delaware Valley.
The Ransome Human Resources Department was evaluated in three categories: the HR Department of the Year Award for HR departments with 7 to 19 employees, Excellence for Benefits and Compensation, and Excellence in Leadership Development. There were many prestigious and well-known companies competing for these awards, and the Ransome Family of Companies is proud to have won for all three categories!
